💻 Format & Completion

This is an asynchronous course. You'll work through video lessons and exercises at your own pace, then submit a Therapeutic Application Plan applying Phrygian mode within a setting you currently work in. I review your plan and return written feedback, along with your completed documentation.

You have 90 days from registration to complete the course.

Not currently in clinical practice? Students, therapists between positions, or those on leave may write their plan for a previous setting or the people they are preparing to serve — just note this at the top of your submission.

• One 50-minute live video consultation on your Therapeutic Application Plan

• A full revision cycle on your plan

• Best scheduled after you submit your plan, so we have concrete material to work from. Sessions must be booked within 90 days of registration.

📄 Your Documentation

Board-certified music therapists pursuing continuing education receive completed CBMT mentor-mentee forms for 3 CMTEs, which you must submit to CBMT.

All other participants — students, therapists credentialed outside the United States, or anyone taking the course for professional development — receive a certificate of completion for 3 contact hours. Please note that a certificate of completion does not carry the mentor-mentee CMTE credit.
